Tarleton State University is a public university located in Stephenville, Texas. Established in 1899, Tarleton State is a founding member of the Texas A&M University System and enrolled over 14,000 students in the fall of 2020. The Texans reclassified to Division-I competition in 2020 and compete in the Western Athletic Conference in all eligible sports.
