Lafayette College is a tradition-rich liberal arts institution founded in 1826 with a selective enrollment of about 2,600 undergraduate students. Degrees are offered in 37 bachelor of arts fields and 14 bachelor of science fields. The main campus includes 69 buildings, comprising approximately 1.76 million square feet, on 340 acres, including a 230-acre athletic campus. Lafayette College overlooks the Delaware River in Easton, Pennsylvania. Easton is located in the Lehigh Valley, population 800,000; about 70 miles west of New York City and 60 miles north of Philadelphia. The scenic Pocono Mountains are about 35 miles north.
