Christian Athlete Circles

Christian Athlete Circles are an athlete ministry designed to accompany student-athletes as they explore and deepen their faith, make meaning of society, ritualize their joys and griefs, celebrate their belovedness, engage in activism, and create Beloved Community. CAC are proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming & seek to be a place where student-athletes can belong, grow, pray, act. Their goal is to provide training and coaching, guidelines, curriculum, resources, and spiritual mentorship to anyone looking to start a Circle on their campus. Christian Athlete Circles exist on campuses and teams to equip & encourage athletes to deepen their Christian faith, to explore identity, to build community, and to address the social, political, and ethical crises of the day.

The Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals

The Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals is a member-based organization working towards the liberation of LGBTQ people in higher education. The Consortium supports individuals who work on campuses to educate and support people of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as advocate for more inclusive policies and practices through an intersectional and racial justice framework. Members envision higher education environments where LGBTQ people, inclusive of all of our intersecting identities, are fully liberated.

The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport (TIDES)

The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport (TIDES) serves as a comprehensive resource for issues related to gender and race in amateur, collegiate and professional sports. The Institute researches and publishes a variety of studies, including annual studies of student-athlete graduation rates and racial attitudes in sports, as well as the internationally recognized Racial and Gender Report Card, an assessment of hiring practices in coaching and sport management in professional and college sport. The Institute also monitors some of the critical ethical issues in college and professional sport, including the potential for exploitation of student-athletes, gambling, performance-enhancing drugs and violence in sport.

The National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A)

The National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) is a community of practitioners dedicated to the academic and personal development of student-athletes, preparing them for success. The Association is committed to the advocacy, education, professional development, and advancement of its members, while promoting integrity in practices on an institutional and global level.

Religious Exemption Accountability Project (REAP)

The Religious Exemption Accountability Project (REAP) empowers queer, trans and non-binary students at more than 200 taxpayer-funded religious schools that actively discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. Through civil rights litigation, storytelling, oral history, research and public policy, we work towards a world where LGBTQ students on all campuses are treated equally, with safety and respect.
